VR Grand Prix Experience – Madame Tussauds Amsterdam

At Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, visitors normally come face to face with their favorite stars. Recently, they can also get behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. On behalf of Madame Tussauds, Yellowspot provided the complete technical design, delivery, and installation of the new VR Grand Prix Experience.

In this attraction, visitors take a seat in a virtual reality simulator and experience an adrenaline-fueled virtual ride in a real race car. It tears, it steers, and it scrapes – but all in a safe, immersive environment that has been meticulously designed.

To complete the experience, we designed, delivered, and installed the entire lighting, sound, and video system in the space. Additionally, we developed the content and software for the digital scoreboard, where visitors can see their lap times and performances. With our show control solutions, all components are seamlessly synchronized, ensuring that each ride runs flawlessly – from starting the simulator to the checkered flag on the scoreboard.

The result: an immersive, technically refined experience that meets the high standards visitors expect from Madame Tussauds.
